Location

Chamonix’s main street is the pedestrianised Rue du Docteur Paccard, running West from the town square. Running East from the square is the Rue Joseph Vallot.

Chalet Anémone is tucked down the Impasse des Anémones, directly off the Rue Joseph Vallot, about 300m from the town square. Because Chamonix is largely flat, getting around the town involves a pleasant stroll, rather than the serious hiking required in some other resorts.

Directions

As you get close to Chamonix, you will come to a series of two roundabouts, a level crossing, and then a third roundabout. Go straight across all three. After the last roundabout, you will pass the Hotel Alpina on the right hand side, before you come to a crossroads. Go right at this crossroads into Rue Joseph Vallot. Take the first proper right hand turn, immediately after a hairdressers called Jean-Louis David, into Impasse des Anémones. The chalet is 20 metres down on the left. You may park your car for unloading next to the chalet, although you may not leave it next to the chalet overnight. There is on-street car parking in the vicinity, and a free car park 250 metres away.
