CHAMONIX

Chamonix is an unbelievable ski and holiday destination with ample to do for all: old, young, sporty, non-sporty, cultural. There are just so many activities and restaurants and bars to choose from you will no know where to start. Many of our Chamonix apartments, chalets and accommodation are right in the middle of the resort centre. This gives you ideal access to ALL the ski fields, shops and multiple bars and restaurants.

Background

The Chamonix Valley is situated in the centre of the Mont-Blanc region, on the French-Swiss border, and stretches over 55km from Servoz to Vallorcine. From one end of the valley to the other there are numerous towns starting at Les Houches, Chamonix Mont-Blanc, Les Praz, Argentière and to Vallorcine. If you want to venture further afield (your Chamonix ski holiday is not enough!) it is easy to take day trips to neighbouring resorts in Italy and Switzerland, just on the other side of the mountains. There are still some remaining glaciers in the valley - of which the most famous is the Mer de Glace - part of the Valley Blanche ski route. The views are spectacular throughout the year . There are 10,000 Chamonix habitants rising to 40,000 and 90,000 in the winter and summer peak seasons.
